एसिड पिडित मुस्कान खातुनलाई नेपालका महानायक राजेश हमालदेखि भारतका महानायक अमिताभ बच्चन लगायत नेपाली विभिन्न सेलिव्रेटीले भावनात्मक र आर्थिक सहयोग गरेका छन् ।

एसिड पिडित मुस्कान खातुनलाई महानायक राजेश हमालले भेटेर पिडितको एउटा कान काटिएको हुदा क्रत्रिम कान राखिदिने बाँचा गरेका छन् । बलिऊडका महानायक अमिताभ बच्चनले पनि खातुन एकदमै हिम्मतवली रहेको भन्दै भिडियो म्यसेज पठाएका थिए । त्यसैगरी खातुनलाई गायक राजु लामाले भेटेर उनलाई खुसि बनाउन र उनको मनोबल बढाउन ‘तिमीलाई देखेर हिमाल हाँसेको…..’ गीत गाएका थिए । २०१८ की मिस नेपाल श्रृंखला खतिवडाले मुस्कान खातुनलाई भेटेर सान्त्वना र मनोबल बढाएकी थिइन् ।

खातुनलाई गत भदौ २० गते दुई जना युवाले एसिड छ्यापेर भागेका थिए । उनको उपचार किर्तिपुर अस्पतालमा भइरहेको छ । दोषी माजिद आलम र सम्साद मियाँलाई हिरासतमा राखी थप अनुसन्धान भइरहेको छ ।

I can’t begin to express in words how much you have inspired us! 14 year old and there’s already so much of strength, courage and positivity in you. Your dad says you’ve been an extraordinary kid since a very young age and I can see why. You are the brightest person that I have ever meet. You are gifted for greater things, nanu! Never undermine the light that’s inside you, don’t let that spirit die!

Muskan is recovering well. And most importantly, she is hopeful and is looking forward to having a wonderful life ahead. She dreams to be a doctor some day. We heard her stories from her parents and learnt that she’s been an outstanding student at school, a topper. I can already picture you on a big stage, fearlessly sharing your story and inspiring millions like you’ve inspired me.
We always have you in our prayers! ……..
The current smile on her face is a bigger push for us to pressure for stronger laws for acid attacks. We owe it to her and all the survivors!

We can still donate for Muskan’s wellbeing . She will be needing a lot of support for multiple cosmetic surgeries in the future and for her year long treatment. Account descriptions in the picture.
